FLEECES
I had a journey with breast cancer in 2009 so we were abit behind for Shepherd's Harvest. But now the sheep have been shorn and we still have fleeces available for sale.
Our 2009 wool was covered for the majority of the year . The coats were put on a little later so some of the tips are lighter (for the browns), but are quite clean. They are available at $10 to 12 per pound. Choose an entire fleece or just a pound or two. We have creamy white, espresso and even some "grey" shades- but since they are rare they sell out quickly. Lock lengths vary between fleeces and can range from 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 inches. Fleece weights are generally 6 to 9 pounds.

In the past, our fleeces, have won 1st and 2nd place for fine wools at the Minnesota Shepherd's Harvest Festival. We have also won the Championship ribbon in the Wool division at the Minnesota State Fair.
